“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Feeling stuck in your career? Like your hard work isn’t leading anywhere? It’s a heavy burden, and you’re not alone. I’ve seen the discouragement, the questions about purpose, and the longing for growth. At 30, this can feel especially overwhelming. But remember, your worth isn’t defined by your job. God has a plan, even when the path is unclear.
I remember a time when I felt lost in my career. I was putting in effort, but feeling overlooked. One day, after a particularly disheartening moment, I felt like a song that was never going to be sung. I realized I had placed my identity in my career. We often do this, forgetting that God has a bigger picture. It’s crucial to shift our focus to Him, to trust that He’s shaping us for something greater. Release your worries to God; He knows your potential and has a purpose for you.
Heavenly Father, I come before you, feeling lost and uncertain in my career. I feel stuck, and the lack of growth weighs heavily on me. Lord, remind me that you have a plan for me, a plan to prosper me and give me hope. Help me to trust in your timing, to find my worth in you, not in my job or achievements. Grant me the strength to persevere through these challenges, and give me the wisdom to recognize the opportunities you place before me. Fill me with your peace and joy, and help me to see your hand at work in my life. I pray for clarity and direction, and I ask that you open my eyes to the path you have set before me. Help me remember that my value is not determined by what I do, but by who I am in You. May I find peace and purpose in your loving presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
